Officials identified 43-year-old Gabriela F Bozeman, of Nacogdoches, as the woman who lost her life following a single-vehicle crash early Sunday in Rusk County.
As per the initial information, the fatal car accident took place on SH-322, about nine miles northeast of Henderson. The preliminary reports showed that a 2021 Chevrolet Trail Blazer driven by Gabriela F Bozeman was heading south on SH-322 at around 1:13 a.m. when, for unknown reasons, it veered off the west side of the highway.
The driver overcorrected, hit a tree and the vehicle flipped, ejecting the driver in the process. DPS reports Judge Jackie Risinger declared Bozeman dead at the scene. No other details are available.
An investigation is ongoing.
