Officials identified 42-year-old Lance Williams who died after a motorcycle crash in San Francisco (San Francisco, CA)

On Wednesday, authorities identified 42-year-old Lance Williams as the man who lost his life following a motorcycle crash that happened last week in downtown San Francisco.

Williams, a San Francisco resident, died in a two-vehicle crash on the night of Sept. 8, near the corner of Eddy and Mason streets. The investigation reports showed that Williams was riding a motorcycle when he crashed into a vehicle for reasons that are under investigation. It is not known if the driver of the vehicle received injuries as a result of the collision. No other details are available regarding the accident.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
