Officials identified 42-year-old James Engeman, of Gladewater, as the man who lost his life following a crash Sunday in Upshur County.
As per the initial information, the crews actively responded to the area at Farm-to-Market Road 1844, northeast of Gladewater Sunday at about 12:45 a.m. after getting reports of a single-vehicle accident.

The vehicle then went into a ditch and hit several trees. He was ejected from the truck due to the impact. Engeman was declared dead at the scene by the officials. No other information is available.
