Officials identified 42-year-old Anthony Hoff who died after a crash on the San Diego Freeway (Los Angeles, CA)

Authorities identified 42-year-old Anthony Hoff as the man who lost his life following a motor vehicle accident Wednesday in Los Angeles.

As per the initial information, the fatal traffic collision took place at about 2:46 a.m. on the San Diego Freeway at the Howard Hughes on-ramp. The early reports showed that Hoff was thrown from his vehicle due to the crash. Hoff was declared dead at the scene by the officials.

It is unknown how many vehicles in total were involved in the wreck. The HOV lane and the Howard Hughes on-ramp were blocked for an unspecified amount of time during the investigation. No additional details are available.
