Authorities identified 38-year-old Didiana Lomeli as the woman who lost her life after she slammed her vehicle into her boyfriend’s vehicle early Saturday in Orange.
As per the initial information, the fatal two-vehicle accident took place at 5:48 on Santa Ana Canyon Road. The woman and the man reportedly had a “verbal altercation” at their home in Anaheim. The man left the house in his car after having an argument, and the woman followed in her vehicle.
He was driving on Santa Ana Canyon Road when the crash occurred just before Orange-Olive Road. Following the collision, her car struck a raised median and tumbled over multiple times. She was thrown from the vehicle due to the impact, and declared dead at the scene. The 27-year-old man did not suffer any serious injuries. They were parents to a toddler, who was not in the car at the time of the accident. No other details are available.
An investigation is ongoing.
