Officials identified 30-year-old Ernesto Molina and 50-year-old Kimberly Skelley who died in a crash (Eloy, AZ)

The Arizona Department of Public Safety identified 30-year-old Ernesto Molina and 50-year-old Kimberly Skelley as the two victims who lost their lives following a wrong-way accident on Interstate 10 Wednesday afternoon.

The investigation reports showed that at about 3:52 p.m. 30-year-old Ernesto Molina, a Tucson resident, was driving a Chevrolet sedan the wrong-way in the left lane of eastbound I-10. Just then, Molina’s vehicle crashed head-on with a Hyundai Accent that was driven by 50-year-old Kimberly Skelley, of Tucson, who was traveling eastbound on I-10.

Both vehicles were occupied by only one person, and both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene by the officials. It is unknown if impairment played a part in the accident.

An investigation continues.
