On Tuesday, authorities identified 29-year-old Bianey Ramos, of Garden Grove, as the man who lost his life after the vehicle he was driving crashed and rolled down an embankment on Interstate 15 in Corona.
The investigation reports showed that Bianey Ramos received major injuries at around 9:55 p.m. Sunday on northbound I-15 at Campbell Ranch Road. The reports further revealed that Ramos was driving a sedan when he suddenly lost control of the car and crashed into an adjacent center median guardrail while passing Indian Truck Trail.
The impact caused the vehicle to flip over and roll down the dirt median between the northbound and southbound lanes of I-15. The vehicle came to a stop upside down on Campbell Ranch Road, under the freeway. Corona Fire Department paramedics arrived at the location within 10 minutes and declared the victim deceased.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
