Officials identified 26-year-old Alexis B Ealy who died after a two-vehicle crash in Keithville (Keithville, LA)

The Caddo Parish coroner’s office identified 26-year-old Alexis B Ealy, of Shreveport, as the woman who lost her life following a two-vehicle crash in Keithville on early Wednesday morning.

The coroner’s office confirmed that Alexis B Ealy, 26, died in the wreck at the intersection of Old Mansfield Road and Keithville-Kingston Road just before 1:30 a.m. The preliminary reports showed that Ealy’s car was traveling north on Old Mansfield Road when it collided with an 18-wheeler that was attempting to turn from Keithville-Kingston Road onto Old Mansfield Road heading south.

Ealy was declared deceased at the scene by the officials. Old Mansfield Road at Keithville-Kingston Road was shut down for several hours while crews worked at the scene, but has since reopened. No other details are available.

The incident remains under review.
