Officials identified 24-year-old Devon Woolard and 54-year-old Catherine Collier who died in a crash (Dayton, NV)

Authorities identified 24-year-old Devon Woolard and 54-year-old Catherine Collier who were killed after a two-car crash on US-50 in Dayton in late August.

Troopers actively responded to the area of US-50 and Occidental Drive after getting information of a collision just after 5 p.m. on August 25 in. The investigation reports showed that a silver Ford Focus was westbound of US-50 and a Chevy Camaro was heading eastbound.

Reports further revealed that Ford could not stay in the travel lane, crossed the center lane, entered the eastbound lanes and struck the front of the Chevy. The Ford had immediately caught fire after the collision. The driver of the Ford, 24-year-old Devon Woolard, a resident of Las Vegas and the driver of the Chevy, 54-year-old Catherine Collier, of Dayton, both died at the scene.

The Nevada Highway Patrol is looking into this crash.
