Officials identified 19-year-old Austin Jacobson who died after a motorcycle crash in Pahrump (Pahrump, NV)

Authorities identified 19-year-old Austin Jacobson as the man who lost his life following a two-vehicle accident Sunday in Pahrump.

The fatal motorcycle crash was reported at around 1 p.m. on State Route 372 and Red Rock Drive. According to the investigation reports, a silver Porsche 911 Carrera was heading westbound on the route in the center lane while a black Suzuki motorcycle was going eastbound.

Just then, the driver failed to yield and made a left turn in front of the motorcycle. Due to the impact, the motorcyclist was thrown from the bike. He succumbed to his injuries after the crash. He was later identified as 19-year-old Austin Jacobson from Pahrump. No other details are made available.

An investigation continues.
