A 40-year-old woman from O'Fallon, Missouri, sustained serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 Westbound east of Bryan Road in St Charles County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.
The crash occurred on September 15, 2026, at approximately 5:12 p.m., the Highway Patrol reported. Troop C has jurisdiction over the incident, which was logged as crash number 260394397.
According to the Highway Patrol, a 2015 Honda Accord and a 2022 Chevrolet 5500HD were both traveling westbound on I-70 when the crash occurred. The female driver of one of the vehicles was injured and transported for medical treatment, the Patrol said.
Drizzle was falling at the time of the crash, with temperatures around 83 degrees Fahrenheit and light wind, according to weather data.
No fatalities were reported in connection with the crash. The Missouri State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the incident.
