A tanker truck hauling ammonium nitrate overturned on Lake Trail Road in Morgan County, according to Gravois Fire Protection District Chief Dustin Hancock. The crash happened around 7 p.m. on July 12 and involved a single vehicle.

Hancock said the tanker did not leak or spill any of its ammonium nitrate cargo despite tipping over. The absence of a spill allowed crews to focus on stabilizing the vehicle and securing the scene rather than managing a hazardous materials release.
