Report

A 33-year-old Nixa man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash south of Nixa, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The patrol said the crash happened on US-160, about 0.4 miles south of Nixa in Christian County, on Sept. 5, 2026, at approximately 9:55 a.m.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report, a 2006 Honda CRV was traveling northbound while a 2019 Harley Davidson Road Glide Ultra was traveling eastbound when the two vehicles collided. The motorcyclist, a 33-year-old man from Nixa, sustained serious injuries in the crash, the patrol reported.

The injured driver was transported to a hospital for medical treatment, authorities said. No fatalities were reported in the crash.

The investigation falls under Troop D jurisdiction of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, which continues to look into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
