A motorcyclist from Chilhowee suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash on US 50 at W Young in Johnson County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's preliminary online crash report.
The crash occurred the afternoon of Sept. 28, 2026, at approximately 3:40 p.m., the Patrol said. A 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling eastbound when it was involved in a collision with a 2018 Dodge Ram pickup traveling northbound, according to the report.
The motorcycle's driver, a 40-year-old man from Chilhowee, Missouri, sustained serious injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol reported. The driver of the pickup, a 73-year-old man from Warrensburg, Missouri, sustained minor injuries, according to the same report.
The crash falls under the jurisdiction of Troop A, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating. No fatalities were reported in connection with the incident.
