A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries early Saturday in a two-vehicle crash on Missouri Route 21 in Jefferson County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred around 12:30 a.m. on July 25 along southbound MO-21 south of Britton Road, the Patrol's online crash report shows. Troopers with Troop C responded to the scene.

According to the Patrol, a 2023 Honda CBT500X motorcycle and a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander were both traveling southbound when the crash occurred. A 30-year-old man from Blackwell, Missouri, believed to be the motorcycle's operator, sustained serious injuries in the collision, the Patrol said.

The injured driver was transported to a hospital for treatment, authorities reported. No fatalities were reported in connection with the crash, and one injury has been confirmed so far.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is listed as the responding and investigating agency for the incident, which has been assigned report number 260312651.
