A 40-year-old man from Sweet Springs died Tuesday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash on eastbound US 50 at Sadie Ln in Pettis County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The patrol reported that the man was riding a 2009 Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide eastbound when it collided with a 2017 Nissan Rogue traveling southbound. The crash occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 29, 2026.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, the Highway Patrol said. The driver of the Nissan, a 60-year-old woman from Sedalia, sustained moderate injuries and was transported for medical treatment, according to the patrol's crash report.
Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop A is investigating the crash, listed under incident number 260415224.
