According to San Jose Police, a motor vehicle collision occurred on Wednesday at around 12:10 p.m.
The officials stated that a 2001 Ducati motorcycle and a 2013 Nissan sedan collided on Moorpark Avenue.
Sgt. Christian Camarillo stated that the Ducati was moving eastbound on Moorpark Avenue and collided with the Nissan which was traveling westbound and turning southbound onto South Monroe Street.
The motorcyclist was rushed to the area hospital where the authorities declared him dead.
The juvenile female passenger in the Nissan was also taken to the area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The officials have not declared the identities of the victims involved in the fatal crash.
No additional information regarding the cause of the crash was released by the San Jose Police Department.
