According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a hit-and-run accident was reported in Phoenix.
The officials stated that a motorcyclist was found lying on the road after a collision with a vehicle on westbound Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway.
The officials stated that the driver of the car fled the scene after failing to render aid.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead shortly after the officials arrived at the scene.
The identity of the deceased victim is awaited by the DPS.
