Motorcyclist killed after crashing into a stalled Honda in Menlo Park (Menlo Park, CA)

One person was killed following a two-vehicle accident Tuesday morning in Menlo Park.

As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash was reported at around 3:50 a.m. and blocked the southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 101 near Willow Road. The preliminary reports showed that the driver of the green Honda was traveling south when it lost control, spun out and collided with the center divider.

After some time, a motorcycle going at full speed plowed into the disabled car. The motorcyclist died following the collision. The driver of the Honda incurred minor injuries. A San Mateo County coroner’s van was on scene. The CHP opened all lanes of traffic by 6:30 a.m. No other details have been provided.

An investigation is ongoing.
