A crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle left one person dead Monday evening on Interstate 70 in Cooper County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. in the eastbound lanes near mile marker 99, the patrol said. Two vehicles were involved, one of them a motorcycle.
KMIZ reported that a 48-year-old from St. Joseph was involved in the crash. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances that led to the collision.
No additional details on injuries beyond the fatality have been released.
