Two people were injured in a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck on eastbound I-44 just east of Springfield, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.

The patrol reported the crash occurred at approximately 7:50 a.m. on July 29, roughly a quarter-mile east of Springfield in Greene County. Troop D responded to the scene.

According to the crash report, a 1999 Honda motorcycle and a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado, both traveling eastbound, were involved in the collision.

A juvenile driver of one of the vehicles sustained serious injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the patrol said. A 19-year-old female occupant from Marlow, Oklahoma, sustained moderate injuries and was also taken for treatment.

No fatalities were reported in connection with the crash. The Missouri State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
