A 32-year-old Moberly woman was seriously injured after her vehicle was struck from behind in a hit-and-run crash on U.S. 63 in Boone County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The woman was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt north on U.S. 63 south of MO-763 when an unknown vehicle collided with the rear of her car, a crash report states. The driver of the striking vehicle left the scene without stopping, and that vehicle has not been identified.
