Minor injuries reported after a two-vehicle collision in Sandy Springs (Sandy Springs, GA)

On Thursday afternoon, a traffic accident in Sandy Springs led to injuries.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place at around 3:15 p.m. near Abernathy Road and the North Springs MARTA station exit. The early reports showed that a tractor-trailer and a Sedan were involved in the collision. Officials shut down all southbound lanes of Ga. 400 in Sandy Springs for about two hours as crews worked to clear the scene.

All lanes were back open just before 5 p.m. The victims involved in the accident incurred only minor injuries. Reports further stated that the rear passenger side of a navy blue four-door Sedan was wrecked due to the crash. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation is continuing.
