An 86-year-old Sunrise Beach man suffered serious injuries Wednesday afternoon when his vehicle left the roadway on Route TT in Camden County, according to KMIZ.
The crash happened around 4:20 p.m. near the intersection of Route TT and Shawnee View Drive, the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report states. The driver was behind the wheel of a 2018 Jeep Cherokee when the vehicle went off the left side of the road, according to the patrol's report.
Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time, according to weather data.
The man was seriously injured in the crash, KMIZ reported. No other vehicles were involved, and the incident is classified as a single-vehicle crash.
