On Friday afternoon, a man suffered serious injuries after a semi-truck crash in Shreveport.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle wreck took place on Interstate 220 at Lakeshore Drive. The early reports showed that an 18-wheeler rolled over for undetermined reasons. The truck was hauling trusses at the time of the crash.
On arrival, emergency responders freed the male driver from the truck’s cab. He was airlifted from the scene by Life Air to Ochsner LSU Health in serious condition. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
