A 47-year-old semi-truck driver suffered serious injuries Thursday evening in a single-vehicle crash in Boone County, according to KMIZ.
The crash happened just before 6 p.m. at the intersection of Route UU and Gillespie Bridge Road, the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report states. The driver was behind the wheel of a 2007 Kenworth W900 at the time of the incident, according to the patrol's report.
According to the crash report, the driver failed to navigate a curve in the roadway, resulting in the crash. The driver was seriously hurt, KMIZ reported.
No other vehicles were reported involved in the crash. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
