A man lost his life after getting struck by a vehicle Sunday morning in Fresno.
As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian collision took place at about 11:00 a.m. on Highway 180 and Blackstone Avenue. The early reports showed that a truck hit a male pedestrian who was running from the north shoulder to the center divider of the roadway for undetermined reasons.
On arrival, paramedics rushed the victim to Community Regional Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No additional information is available.
The incident remains under investigation.
