A man lost his life following a two-vehicle accident Friday morning in North Las Vegas.
As per the initial information, the authorities actively responded to the area at Dorrell and Bostick Weir St. at about 8:20 a.m. in response to a bicycle crash. The early reports showed that a male cyclist was struck by a black SUV heading eastbound on Dorrell.
On arrival, first responders rushed the cyclist to UMC, where he died of his injuries. The driver of the SUV stayed at the scene. Speed is believed to be involved in the collision. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other information is available.
The incident remains under investigation.
