Man injured after an auto-pedestrian collision in Tucson (Tucson, AZ)

On Friday, a man suffered injuries after getting struck by a vehicle in Tucson.

As per the initial information, officers actively responded to the intersection of Speedway Boulevard and Euclid Avenue at about 9:00 p.m. after getting reports of an auto-pedestrian crash. The preliminary investigation showed that a vehicle hit a pedestrian for reasons that are yet to be known.

On arrival, emergency crews rushed the man to Banner University Medical Center in serious condition. The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
