A man received critical injuries after being hit by a vehicle Tuesday morning in Phoenix.
As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian crash took place near 19th and Southern avenues in Phoenix. The early report showed that the man was not in a crosswalk when a driver heading west struck him. On arrival, paramedics rushed him to the hospital in extremely critical condition.
The driver, on the other hand, stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. Speed and impairment are not believed to be involved in the accident. The area was expected to remain restricted through much of Tuesday morning during the investigation. No other information is available.
The incident remains under investigation.
