On Sunday night, a man suffered critical injuries following a single-vehicle accident on the Northeast Side.
As per the initial information, the motorcycle crash took place in the 6100 block of FM 78, near Lakeview Drive. The preliminary reports showed that the victim was riding a 2007 Honda motorcycle and was heading northbound when his motorcycle slammed into a concrete median. Due to the impact, the rider failed to maintain control and crashed.
A witness stopped and provided aid to the motorcycle rider and informed the officers about the accident. The man was reportedly not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. On arrival, emergency responders rushed him to a hospital with critical injuries a little after 9:15 PM. No other information has been provided.
The incident remains under review.
