Man hospitalized after a solo-vehicle crash in San Antonio (San Antonio, TX)

On early Tuesday morning, a man suffered injuries after a vehicle smashed into a highway guardrail in San Antonio.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place at about 2 a.m. on the exit off Loop 410 to Marbach Road. The early reports showed that the driver of a black pickup truck was leaving the highway when his vehicle slammed into an exit divider, trapping him inside.

On arrival, firefighters had to pry the door to extricate the man from the truck. The victim was transported by EMS to University Hospital with unspecified injuries. Multiple agencies answered the call. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
