Man hospitalized after a motorcycle crash in San Antonio (San Antonio, TX)

On early Sunday morning, one person sustained injuries following a two-vehicle collision in San Antonio.

As per the initial information, the motorcycle crash took place at approximately 2:15 AM in the 5600 block of UTSA Boulevard, just west of I-10. The preliminary investigation showed that a man, believed to be in his 30s, was riding the motorcycle when it smashed into an SUV from behind. The motorcycle rider informed the officers that he failed to see the SUV in time and rear-ended the car.

Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital with non-fatal injuries. According to the authorities, it does not seem that intoxication was involved in the accident. The driver of the SUV did not receive any injuries and was released from the scene, officials said. No other information has been provided.

An investigation is ongoing.
