Man hospitalized after a hit-and-run accident in Hesperia (Hesperia, CA)

A man received injuries following a bicycle accident Wednesday afternoon in Hesperia.

As per the initial information, the hit-and-run collision took place at about 3:30 p.m. on Main Street and Fifth Avenue, near the corner of the Fast Trip Liquor. Authorities actively responded to the scene and, on arrival, found a black mountain bike near the driveway of the gas station and the cyclist down on the ground.

The male bicyclist was taken to the hospital to the hospital with unknown injuries. Authorities believe that a hit-and-run occurred in the crash. The driver of the vehicle has not been detained at this time. A stretch of Fifth Avenue was closed down to give way to the investigation. No other details are available.

The incident remains under review.
