Man hospitalized after a car runs into two homes in Southfield (Southfield, MI)

On Friday morning, a man suffered injuries after a car slammed through a Southfield home garage door before colliding the neighboring home.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place in the area of 12 Mile Road and Lincoln, at Alta Vista and Continental. The early reports showed that a vehicle plowed into two homes for undetermined reasons. Reports further revealed that a garage door was completely destroyed due to the crash.

The vehicle involved also struck the home next door to the garage. The car was badly damaged as a result of the wreck. On arrival, emergency crews took a man to a hospital with unspecified injuries. At this time, it is unknown if the victim was the driver of the car or a bystander. No additional information has been provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
