Man died after an auto-pedestrian collision in Phoenix (Phoenix, AZ)

A man lost his life after getting struck by an SUV early Wednesday morning in Phoenix.

As per the initial information, the authorities actively responded to the area near 27th and Dunlap Avenues at about 3:15 a.m. Wednesday on reports of an auto-pedestrian crash. The early reports showed that an SUV hit a man who was crossing the street mid-block.

The male pedestrian was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead. The SUV’s occupants stayed at the scene, and did not receive any injuries. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No other details are available.

The accident remains under investigation.
