On early Wednesday, a man was detained after he rammed his pickup truck into a front of a store on Wayside Drive.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place in the 1400 block of Wayside Drive. HPD officers actively responded to the scene and, on arrival, they learnt that a red Chevy pickup had run through the front of Cartronix.
The early reports showed that the pickup first collided with a power pole before it went nearly all the way into the store. It is unclear if anyone inside the store was injured as a result of the crash. No other details have been provided by the authorities.
An investigation is underway.
