Man dead following an auto-pedestrian accident in Fullerton (Fullerton, CA)

A man lost his life after being struck by a vehicle Monday morning in Fullerton.

As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place at about 5:15 a.m. on Chapman Avenue and Annin Avenue. The preliminary reports showed that the male pedestrian was crossing southbound across Chapman Avenue and the vehicle was heading westbound on Chapman Avenue when the incident happened.

The pedestrian died of his injuries at the scene. The driver involved in the crash remained at the scene and did not display any signs of DUI. Chapman Avenue between Harrington Drive and Victoria Drive was closed down while crews worked at the scene. No other information is available.

The incident remains under investigation.
