On Saturday night, a man lost his life after being hit by a vehicle in Roseville.
As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian collision was reported at about 10:30 p.m., in the area of eastbound I-94 near Little Mack. On arrival, responders found a white male, around 30-years-old, dead on the right shoulder. The early reports showed that the driver of a passenger vehicle was going in the center lane of eastbound I-94 when she saw a man standing in the center lane.
The woman veered her vehicle to avoid striking the pedestrian but she failed to stop before hitting the man. The driver of the vehicle pulled over and cooperated with the officers. Alcohol was not involved in the accident, officials said. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No further details were provided.
