A man lost his life after getting struck by a car Thursday evening in the Palms area of Los Angeles.
As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place at about 10:20 p.m. Thursday at Palms Boulevard and Vinton Avenue. The early reports showed that a Kia Soul hit a man for reasons that are yet to be known.
He was declared dead at the scene by the officials. The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the officials. It is unknown if speed was involved in this collision. Alcohol and/or drugs did not contribute to the accident. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details are available.
