A man lost his life following a two-vehicle crash Friday in Fremont.
As per the initial information, the fatal car accident took place at about noon near Christy Street and Stewart Avenue, north of Auto Mall Parkway. The early reports showed that a gray Volkswagen Passat and a semi-trailer were involved in the collision. The male driver of the Volkswagen was declared dead at the scene by the officials.
The reports further revealed that the semi-trailer was parked on the right shoulder of Stewart Avenue at the time of the accident. The impact of the crash pushed the semi-trailer partially onto the street curb. Stewart Avenue was partially blocked between Christy and Albrae streets during an investigation. No other details are available.
