Man dead after a motorcycle crash in the Watts area of South Los Angeles (Los Angeles, CA)

On Saturday evening, a man lost his life following a two-vehicle collision in the Watts area of South Los Angeles.

As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place a little after 6 p.m. at Compton Avenue and Century Boulevard. The early reports showed that a motorcyclist was southbound on Compton when the driver of a northbound car tried to turn left in front of him onto Century, causing a collision.

The motorcyclist suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. The driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No other information has been provided.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
