On Monday evening, a man lost his life following a two-vehicle accident in North Las Vegas.
As per the initial information, officers actively responded to the area of the 4900 block of Camino Al Norte at about 4:05 p.m. after getting reports of a motorcycle crash. The early reports showed that the motorcycle collided with the SUV as the SUV came out from a local post office to make a left turn on Camino. The motorcycle rider, believed to be in his 40s, was declared dead at the scene by the officials.
The driver of the SUV was a female believed to be in her 70s. She stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. Camino Al Norte was shut down from La Madre to Lone Mountain as crews worked at the scene. Drivers were asked to avoid the area. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
