Man dead after a motorcycle crash in North Las Vegas; 29-year-old Thomas Munoz Jr arrested (North Las Vegas, NV)

On Saturday, a man lost his life following a two-vehicle accident in North Las Vegas while officers arrested 29-year-old Thomas Munoz Jr for driving impaired.

As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash was reported at about 7 a.m. at the intersection of Ann Road and Allen Lane. The preliminary investigation indicated that Munoz Jr was speeding northbound on Allen Lane at a red light. On the other hand, the motorcycle was westbound on Ann Road when the rider traveled through the intersection on a green light and got hit by the Sedan.

The motorcyclist, who was in his 50s, died of his injuries at the scene. Officers later arrested and booked Munoz Jr. on driving while impaired resulting in death, failure to follow traffic lights, reckless driving, failure to render aid and not wearing a seatbelt. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
