Man dead after a hit-and-run crash in Tacoma; woman arrested (Tacoma, WA)

On Thursday, a man lost his life after being hit by a vehicle in Tacoma.

The fatal hit-and-run crash took place just before 10 p.m. at the intersection of South 10th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way. On arrival, responders found a 52-year-old man lying in the street.

Emergency responders provided him aid until the medical personnel arrived and took him to a hospital, where he later died. According to the authorities, the car that hit the man was driven by his estranged wife. Officers located the 41-year-old woman and reviewed the surveillance footage.

Reports further added that the man ran out in front of the suspect’s moving vehicle and got struck. The woman was later booked for a hit-and-run for leaving the crash scene. No other details are made available.

The incident remains under review.
