A man lost his life after getting struck by a vehicle Monday in Carmichael.
As per the initial information, the fatal hit-and-run collision took place at about 9 p.m. on Fair Oaks Boulevard and El Camino Avenue. The preliminary reports showed that a vehicle hit a man in the northbound lanes of Fair Oaks Boulevard.
The vehicle involved left the scene after the crash. It is unknown if the victim died at the scene or at a hospital. Authorities have not provided a description of the suspect or the hit-and-run vehicle. No other details are available.
