A male pedestrian was left in critical condition after getting struck by a vehicle in Tucson early Monday, Nov. 8.
As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian collision took place near the intersection of West Grant and North Oracle roads. On arrival, first responders rushed the man to the hospital with injuries that are life-threatening.
The early reports showed that the victim, whose identity has not been released, is fighting for his life at the hospital. It is also unknown if the involved driver remained at the scene after the collision. Authorities advised the drivers to avoid the affected area.
The incident remains under active review.
