Male pedestrian in critical condition after a hit-and-run accident in west Phoenix (Phoenix, AZ)

A man was left in critical condition after being struck by a hit-and-run motorist Wednesday afternoon while crossing the street in west Phoenix.

As per the initial information, the hit-and-run accident took place at the intersection of 35th Avenue and Indian School Road at about 12:30 p.m. The vehicle fled the scene after hitting the man. On arrival, first responders rushed the man to a local hospital.

No details are available regarding the suspect or the hit-and-run vehicle. Indian School Road was shut down from 31st to 33rd avenue during the investigation. The identity of the injured pedestrian remains undisclosed at this time. No other details are available.
