A male pedestrian lost his life after being struck by a vehicle Monday in Pomona.
As per the initial information, the authorities actively responded to the area at Holt Avenue and New York Drive after getting reports of a hit-and-run crash at about 9:33 p.m. On arrival, responders found a man between 30 to 40 years old suffering from major injuries. Evidence at the scene showed that the man was hit by a vehicle while he was crossing the street.
The pedestrian was rushed to a hospital where he was declared dead. Officers checked the area for an involved vehicle, but did not locate one. Authorities have not provided any details regarding the suspect and their vehicle. No other information is available.
