A Burlingame man riding a bicycle received injuries after being hit by a vehicle Saturday night in Buellton.
As per the initial information, the hit-and-run collision took place at around 7:30 p.m. on Highway 154, east of Lakeview Drive. The early reports showed that a vehicle traveling west on Highway 154 struck the bicyclist and left the scene. The 37-year-old Burlingame man suffered major injuries as a result of the crash.
On arrival, responders rushed the cyclist to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. Officers described the suspect’s vehicle as a maroon or burgundy Toyota Scion with front-end damage. No other information is available.
